Desktop and mobile devices
You can choose different layout styles for landscape and portrait mode using the display toggle.
Landscape mode is usually the display mode for desktop.
Portrait mode is usually the display mode for phones and tablets. However, mobile users might choose to change the orientation of their phones to the landscape viewing mode.
In portrait mode, Mapme lets you customize which view to display when the user taps on a marker or on a list result.
Which layout style should I choose?
The choice of the layout style depends on your type of map, your map content and your audience.
For example, for storytelling maps, we recommend using the Story style.
For a map with categories and a high number of locations, we recommend using the Minimal or Summary style.
