In your Mapme account, locations can have 3 different status
- New – locations that have not yet been published. Those locations are visible on the preview map in the editor but not on the published version of the map
- Draft – this status includes new locations as well as locations that have been modified since published
- Published – those locations have been published and the content is identical on both the preview in the editor and the published map
The location status filter allows you to select locations based on their status (New, Draft, and Published). For example, you can now easily find locations that have not been published yet or locations that have been modified since your last published your map.
The location status filter is very useful for moderation if you use crowdsourcing to add content to your map. With the location status filter, you can see which new locations have been submitted. You can review those new submissions and publish them.
