Mapme lets you add a thin 1 px border around shapes and customize its color. If you need a thicker or more distinctive border, you can create a separate border layer with customizable width, color, pattern, blur, and other line styling options.
Create a custom shape border
- Finish configuring the original layer, including its drawings, visibility, and interactivity settings.
- Duplicate the layer.
- Rename the duplicated layer to “<layer name> – Border.”
- Position the border layer above the original layer.
- Under Shape customization, set Shape appearance to Outline only.
- Under Line customization, customize the border color, width, pattern, blur, and other styling options.
Keep both layers synchronized
The original layer and border layer are independent. If you later edit the drawings or change their visibility or interactivity settings, apply the same changes to both layers.
