In one of our previous posts, we talked about the benefits of having an Experience Map for realtors and real estate brokerage firms.
Here we’ll show you how to create your own Experience Map. It’s easy, no technical skills or programming needed.
Follow those recommend steps to create your experience map.
Collect your past sales data
Usually, you can export it from your MLS or your CRM. The data you want is:
- Name of location ie street address
- Full address
- Description (optional): you can include a short description as well as price sold
- Photo or video (optional)
Create the categories
Take a moment to decide how you want to organize your sales. Here are some common options:
- Price ranges, for example: less than $500,000, $500,000 to $1M and above $1M.
- Sellers side or buyers side
- Sold or leased
Once you created your categories, customize the markers. With our marker editor, you can use markers with icons or upload your own images.
Here are some examples of image markers you can use on your experience map:

Create your import file
We recommend entering first a few sales through the editor. Then export the data to create a template for the import.
Do not change the header of the import template.
Add all your data to the csv template file. Make sure you assign each location to its category.
Import your data in your map.
Add your media
If available, add a photo or video for your sales.
