With Mapme, you can easily duplicate location data when creating or managing digital content on your interactive map.
Here are the main benefits of duplicating location data:
- Efficient Map Creation: By duplicating location data, you can significantly reduce the time and effort needed to create your maps.
- Consistency Across Map Locations: Duplicating location data ensures that information is presented consistently across the map, enhancing the map viewer’s trust and overall user experience.

How it works?
- In the location list, hover over the location you would like to duplicate.
- The duplicate icon will appear next to the delete option.
- Click on the duplicate icon.
- The duplicated location will appear right below the original location and is automatically named “Copy of…”.
Mapme duplicates all the location data from the original location, which includes:
- Location Name: The name of the location.
- Address: The address of the location.
- Description: The description of the location, preserving all formatting.
- Media: All associated media, such as photos, videos, audio clips, or integrated media options like 360-degree images or 3D tours.
- 3D Buildings: Any 3D buildings set for that location.
- Map View: All map view settings for the location.
- Categories: All categories that are assigned to the location.
- Drawing Layers: All drawing layers that are assigned to the location.
